The cottage had a few drawbacks. the heating system was rather temperamental and took a while to warm up the entire space, leaving us a little chilly at times.

The modern interior was super sleek and had everything we needed, from the Wi-Fi to the electric kettle. The location was jaw-droppingly serene, tucked away off the main road, yet still conveniently close to St Andrews and Dundee. We loved exploring the nearby hiking trails and even tried our hand at wind surfing! Plus, the free parking and picnic area made it even better. And guess what? Our furry friend was welcome too, thanks to the pet-friendly policy. It was the perfect getaway with no smoking on site. We cannot recommend this place enough!
